SYTE is our ministry for students, 6th grade through college. Our mission is to share God's grace and truth so that youth come to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. SYTE exists to raise up a new generation of students for Jesus Christ. We do that by offering many opportunities for students to experience the reality of Christ through learning, worshipping and serving together.
Here are some things we do:
- SYTE Fridays (6th - 12th) are held Fridays, 7:00-9:30pm at the Church Office and is designed to be a small group community for students. We want them to be able to build closer relationships with their peers, grow in their understanding of God's Word and find mentoring relationships with adult advisors.
- SYTE Sundays (6th - 8th) are held at 9am & 11am during the message portion of our Sunday worship services at Phantom Lake Elementary School. SYTE Sundays seeks to create an interactive learning enviornment where youth learn how God's Word can be applied in everday circumstances.
- SYTE Events include organized activities like camping, Nerf, broomball, concerts, scavenger hunts, movies and more. They offer students a chance to get to know one another better in an atmosphere of fun and fellowship.
- VOX (derived from the Latin word for "voice") is designed to be a place where students can come together in community to worship and hear a relevant message aimed at claiming a new generation of students for God.
- SYTE College Small Groups are held Tuesdays, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Church Office for students who want to know more about Jesus and experience community. Students have the opportunity to build closer relationships, grow in their understanding of God's word and find accountability in their journey with God.
